Last February, I decided to head to Iceland.

Norway being so close, I get to go there quite often, but it is every bit as magical every time. I spent quite a lot of time driving around just soaking it all in and of course, doing some location scouting before meeting up with the couple I was photographing there. The day I landed, a storm came in and wiped everything fresh and clean.

On the day of the wedding, heavy rain was pouring down, but as most people who have been to Iceland know, everything changes in an instant. We got heavy rain, hail, extreme winds, snow and beautiful sunlight. We had red fingers and blue lips. But it was all worth it. I have to say, I really love it. I also fell over a couple of times trying to get out of the car... haha what a day!!!

We had a magical, windy and intense day. It was definitely not for the weak! Good thing both the couple and I love a good adventure. I am in awe of what this country has to offer and feel I discover something new every time. I can't wait to go back!!!!

When your camera is still in your bag after a trip to Iceland, you doubt yourself because of the intensity of this country. But then, you sit down, you upload the images and your heart rests easy. It's just magic!
